The tactical revolution includes a lot more than just AR-15 rifles and military-look gear, and one of the newest entries into the market isn’t a gun or gun accessory. It is black, though.

The new Shock N’ Awesome Tomahawk is the latest entry in Browning’s line of Black Label cutting tools, and one look will confirm that this is not really a precision instrument. The Shock N’ Awesome Tomahawk has an overall length of 13 inches and the high carbon 1055 tool steel blade length is 2-5/8 inches. Opposite the blade is a curved penetration spike.

It has a tough one-piece handle with a spiked pommel. The handle is clad in checkered G-10 scales for a sure grip in all conditions even in gloves and a lanyard hole is there for retention. It comes with an injection molded sheath with integrated MOLLE attachments for safe and secure storage and carry.

The Shock N’ Awesome is the big brother of the 10.5-inch Shock N’ Awe, a popular Browning Black Label tomahawk with a 2-3/4-inch blade and sheath with Tek-Lok clip for easy belt carry.

Both of these tomahawks are perfect for general utility use, work at camp or in the field, and in post-apocalyptic survival scenarios.

The new Shock N’ Awesome Tomahawk will have an MSRP of $133 compared to the $98 suggested retail price of its little brother.
