“Amaro’s vast experience in international sales will be invaluable as we continue to execute our strategy to become a significant supplier of high quality firearms and services to military and law enforcement agencies around the globe,” said Leland Nichols, President of Smith & Wesson Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Smith & Wesson Holding Corporation. “During his time at Smith & Wesson, Amaro has played a key role in securing additional opportunities in these markets. His leadership, experience, and first hand knowledge of international laws and customs will help us continue to deliver excellent service to our existing customers and capitalize on new opportunities as we expand our presence globally with military and law enforcement professionals.”

“I am excited about this opportunity to further extend Smith & Wesson’s global reputation for delivering only top quality product and services,” commented Goncalves. “By remaining extremely active on the customer front, from our firearms training programs, to our face to face interactions to our worldwide armourer schools, I look forward to continuing to make the Smith & Wesson brand synonymous with safety, security, protection and sport across the globe.”
