Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation Awards CMG Marketing & Events Marketing and Public Relations Contract

Kiawah Island, SC (May 19, 2009) – The Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation has awarded CMG Marketing and Events their marketing and public relations contract.  This partnership will be in effect through April 30, 2012. 

According to William Christy, President of SSSF “we wanted an agency that could help us market this vitally important program for the development of our youth within shooting sport programs, and specifically through the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP).  Generating the awareness of SCTP is key to ensuring that the most successful youth-oriented program in the industry continues to grow.”  Continued Mr. Christy, “With CMG Marketing’s vast background in marketing and public relations, we felt this partnership would be a perfect match for our needs.”

 
As part of the overall program, CMG will handle all marketing and public relations work for the Foundation as well as SCTP including the National Championships which will be held in Sparta, Illinois in late July. 

“We could not be more pleased with this opportunity,” says Cathy Williams, President of CMG Marketing & Events.  “SCTP, through the work of the Foundation, is an important component to the development of youth within shooting sports through this high-quality, team-based program.”

 
CMG Marketing and Events adds the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation to their client list which includes ATK and Related Products, Blaser, Hammock Publishing, The American Watercraft Association, Marine Corps League, The National Rifle Association and the Boomer Esiason Foundation.
