Legacy Sports International is proud to announce that our PUMA™ Westerner SAA pistols, under the expert handling of Hotshot Johnny Tuscadero, won the 1st Annual SASS/WWPAS World Championships of the Western Arts in the category of Gun Handling. The SASS/WWPAS World Championship was held during the annual SASS (Single Action Shooting Society) Convention in Las Vegas, December 3 – 5, 2009 at the Riviera hotel. WWPAS (Wild West Performing Arts Society) and SASS have joined forces to create a performing brand that carries on the traditions and heritage of the Old West. About 40 contestants, competing in the categories of bullwhip cracking, trick roping, knife and tomahawk throwing and fancy gun handling came from around the country – and internationally – to compete. The event was judged by Western actors and Wild West entertainment moguls, with scoring at its closest in the history of western arts competition. In fact, Hotshot Johnny was co-winner of the Gun Handling category even after an on-stage showdown!
.jpg "Image") Hotshot Johnny used a pair of PUMA Westerners in .45 Colt with a 5.5” barrels, nickel finish and factory-tuned actions by F.lli Pietta to win his award.
