MIAMI – Combining the best features from the Taurus 800 Series, 24/7 Series and 24/7 OSS™, the new 24/7 G2 semi-auto pistol series offers true next-generation performance. The 24/7 G2 is the culmination of the wisdom and experience of firearms designers who are passionate about performance.
The 24/7 G2 is available in 9mm, .40 cal. and .45 ACP, with choice of Taurus’ advanced DA/SA trigger system, double-action or single action only trigger. Offered in blued or stainless, features include “Strike Two” capability for incredible reliability, a new trigger safety, balanced spring pressure for extraordinarily fast shooting, low-profile adjustable rear sights for windage and elevation, ambidextrous magazine release and Picatinny rail.
Contoured ambidextrous thumb rests and finger indexing Taurus Memory Pads™, polymer body construction with smooth and functional contours and polymer grip with metallic inserts and three interchangeable backstraps will make each owner feel like the gun was build specifically for them. Also offered in compact model for easier carry and long slide version for better sight picture and improved accuracy.
Standard safety features for the G2 Series include a vertical loaded chamber indicator that is visible from both sides, firing pin block and the unique Taurus Security System® that allows users to securely lock the gun using an inconspicuous key-lock. Additional model-specific safety features include firing pin cocking indicator, ambidextrous slide stop, ambidextrous manual decocker latch and ambidextrous manual safety latch.
