BRENNEKE USA SLUGS NOT AFFECTED BY ROTTWEIL RECALL
.jpg "Image") Recently, RUAG Ammotec Gmbh announced a recall of of Rottweil™ brand rifled slug
ammunition loaded using Brenneke® slugs. This does not affect Brenneke USA ammunition.
Since January 1, 2006, Brenneke USA has been the only authorized source of Brenneke products,
and the only company authorized to utilize Brenneke slugs. The Rottweil cartridges referred to in
the recall were manufactured by RUAG in 2005 and earlier, using Brenneke slugs purchased under
contract.
Brenneke USA regrets any confusion, and wishes to assure customers and dealers that no
ammunition bearing the Brenneke USA name and logo is subject to recall. Should further
