.jpg)
Gardner, MA – H&R 1871 proudly introduces the first ever Topper Trap Gun. Designed specifically for the sport of trap shooting, it has the features discriminating users look for in a shotgun.
The Topper Trap Gun has a 30” barrel with a raised ventilated rib with double bead sights. The carbon steel barrel is blued and polished. The receiver is carbon steel coated with electroless nickel, giving the gun an attractive, eye catching custom gun look. The gun comes with a stainless steel IM extended choke tube.
The checkered Monte Carlo stock perfectly aligns the shooter’s eye with the bead sights. The stock has a trap style recoil pad for performance and comfort. Select walnut for the stock is proudly supplied by the American Walnut Company.
This new trap gun is part of H&R’s Topper shotgun line. Like all shotguns in this family, the Trap Gun patterns well, has a transfer bar safety and a smooth single shot action that opens with the push of a lever. It will be available in March 2008 with an MSRP of $362.00.
