ImageNew Weaver Grand Slam® Tactical DRT Scopes Make it "Dead Right There"

WEAVER introduces two new Grand Slam Tactical DRT scopes for the tactical shooter who needs the ability to make the target “dead right there.” The scopes are offered in the standard military configurations of 10x40mm and 4.5-14x40 with rear plane Mil Dot reticle.

The new Tactical DRT scopes incorporate the premium features for which Grand Slam scopes are acclaimed, with the addition of features required of tactical performance.  Weaver’s exclusive QuadZero four-point windage and elevation adjustment system make them reliable and repeatable.  Unlike the adjustment systems of most riflescopes, QuadZero uses two leaf springs opposite the dials.   Typical scopes have one leafspring, so adjusting one screw too far can cause the spring to affect the adjustment of the other screw.

The increased force bearing down from the second spring also helps hold zero 60% better than most premium scopes.  Click adjustments remain consistent to a quarter minute of angle, and zero is maintained in a vise-like grip to 10,000 rounds from a .375 H&H Magnum rifle, providing the shooter with reliability, repeatability, and durability that is unrivaled in its class.

Weaver Grand Slam Tactical DRT scopes have resettable tactical windage and elevation turrets for on-the-job adjustments and repeatability.  The knobs make ¼-MOA adjustments and have a horizontal scale for keeping track of revolutions.

ImageAs part of the Grand Slam scope family, Tactical DRT scopes benefit from the proven features of the series.  Grand Slams were engineered from the ground up to be rugged, unequalled in sharpness and contrast, and loaded with details that put them ahead of the competition in performance.  They feature fully multicoated Japanese-made optics with 94% light transmission that ensure a sharp, bright view.  They also have a SureGrip power ring and AO adjustment that let you easily adjust the variable scopes, even while wearing heavy gloves, and an offset parallax indicator that allows the shooter to remain in a shooting position while adjusting the scope.  For quick focusing, the eyepiece has a fast-focus adjustment ring.  Simply rotate the ring until the reticle appears sharp.

Grand Slam scopes’ solid construction with a one-piece tube from the eyebell forward makes them not only rugged and reliable, but resistant to moisture and humidity. The new Tactical scopes have a non-glare black matte finish with stylish cosmetics featuring the green and gold oval Weaver logo medallion on the scope saddle and green ring inside the objective lens hood.

Suggested retail prices are $529.95 for the fixed-power 10x40mm scope and $579.95 for the 4.5-14x40 configuration.
