MTM Celebrates 40 Years of Innovation

Dayton, OH…(January 2008)  MTM Case-Gard is a family owned and operated plastic injection molded facility with a primary focus on the shooting sports.  First opening its doors in 1968 MTM Molded Products began as a simple idea for storing ammo.  Since his early childhood days, Founder, Bill Minneman was an avid hunter. His search for a sturdy container to store his reloaded ammo came up short, because at the time everyone settled with plastic bags or cardboard boxes.  As a tool maker by trade and a practical inventor by nature, Minneman designed the Case-Gard 50 Series Ammo Box which is still available today. 

Fast forward 40 years…Today, Bill’s children own the family business after buying him out in 1996. MTM has become a leader in innovative and cost effective American-Made shooting products specifically designed for shooting and hunting sportsmen.   Whether it is for trapshooting, big game or varmint hunting or simply for having fun plinking, MTM is sure to have a place on your shelves.
