Eze-Lap’s Knife Sharpening Kit Model DMD-KIT unique knife clamp is made of a lightweight aluminum alloy, which attaches snugly to any blade. The clamp includes two different angle-guides, which “steer” the sharpening stones for the perfect motion. The upper guide holds stones at a 20-degree angle (perfect for filet, boning and kitchen knives), while the lower guide uses a 25-degree angle, great for hunting, pocket and outdoor knives.

The red-clad stone features 600 Superfine grit, while the blue-and purple-clad stones feature Fine 1,200 and Medium 400 grit abrasives, respectively. While the Fine grit is perfect for most chores, the Superfine stone is perfect for polish and touch-up, while the Medium model is ideal for quickly establishing (or re-establishing) an edge. All sharpening surfaces feature Eze-Lap’s patented heat-treatment technique, which bonds the highest quality industrial-grade diamond particles in a stainless steel alloy to a precision-matched metal substrate — resulting in the sharpest possible blade edge.
