Browning Adds New Models to Knife Line-Up For 2008

MORGAN, UTAH - Browning's diverse line of knives for the avid outdoorsman and collector continues to grow with new models being added for 2008.

Hunting Traditions Limited Edition Knives. Browning's new Hunting Traditions Series knives will be offered in two fixed blade models that will be custom crafted from enhanced 440-A stainless steel. The full-length tang on each model is flanked by handles that feature the unique combination of genuine stag with contrasting Paraguayan ebony for a striking look. Each knife includes a fitted walnut display case and matching lithograph that is suitable for framing. A limited run of 2,000 of each of these knives are being crafted. The Limited Edition Whitetail model and Limited Edition Mallard model both will feature 3 3/4" blade lengths, Suggested Retail, $199.95.

Escalade Series Knives. The new Escalade series fixed blade knives are built to last with a rugged, edge-holding 440-C stainless steel blade forged in either a functional skinner type or versatile drop point style. Handles will be offered in either Box elder burl or Krayton rubber. Blade length for skinner models is 2 1/2" and 3 1/2" for drop point models. Wood handle versions will be supplied with a leather sheath and Krayton rubber handles models will be supplied with a Cordura Sheath. Suggested Retail $39.95 - $79.95.

Aztec Pocket Knives. The new Aztec pocket knives put a twist on tradition by combining two favorite handle materials, wood and stag, into one great looking knife. The unique grain of zebra wood is the perfect companion to traditional stag. Two, three and four blade styles are available in blade lengths from 2" to 3 1/2", Suggested Retail, $29.95- $39.95.

Browning will also expand its Scrimshaw series knives to include the Mallard, Pheasant and Turkey models. A new Carbon fiber handle Eclipse series knife is also new in 2008.
