ImageSTI International, Inc signed on as a Gold Sponsor

Sedro-Woolley, Washington - STI International, Inc., the noted competition firearms maker, has signed on as a Gold Sponsor for the 2008 Smith & Wesson Limited, Production and Revolver USPSA Championships as well as the USPSA Open and Limited-10 National Championships. Both matches will be held back to back in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the U.S Shooting Academy September 7-13, 2008.

"STI is one of the most popular brands in the competition arena with thousands of shooters world-wide relying on STI to help propel them to the top of the sport," said Dave Thomas, Executive Director of USPSA. "STI has been a long time friend of the shooting sports and USPSA in particular which is why we are so pleased to have them again as one of our major sponsors."

"As the longest continuous National Match/Gold Sponsor, we are pleased and proud to continue being a contributing part of an organization as prestigious as the USPSA," said Dave Skinner, President of STI International. He went on to add that STI would be proudly displaying their new USPSA single anddouble stack pistols in the vendor area at the Match, and that a portion of the proceeds from the sale of every one of these models went to benefit the USPSA Junior Program.

More than 625 of the nation's top handgun shooters, as well as several from outside the United States, are expected to compete in the championships where they will negotiate their way through stages on two field courses on their way to putting more than 280,000 rounds down range. The Handgun National Championships are the highlight of the practical shooting season in the United States, and in 2008, a preliminary for the International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) World Championships at the end of October in Bali, Indonesia.
