Names Chip Klass Marketing Manager- American Big Game and Western
ACCOKEEK, MD (June 25, 2007) — Beretta USA Corp. today announced the appointment of Chip Klass to the position of Marketing Manager – American Big Game and Western Shooter. Chip, who has been with Beretta USA Corp. since June 2006, was most recently the Marketing Manager – Upland Sportsman and Western Shooter. In his new capacity, Klass will manage the relationship between Beretta USA and sister-company Sako Finland and oversee the Sako and Tikka product lines along with the related apparel, accessories and pro shop products for the American Big Game and Western Shooter segments. In addition to these duties Klass will also take over responsibility for the Beretta Knives program. He will continue to report to Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Patrick McDonald.
Prior to joining the Beretta team, Klass owned a full service marketing agency for four years. Before starting his own agency, he held the position of Director of Marketing for Horton Manufacturing as well as Game Tracker, Inc. His marketing experiences spans more than 15 years in the outdoor venue.
According to Patrick McDonald,” Chip has done an excellent job since joining Beretta in 2006. Chip is well qualified to assume these new responsibilities based on his prior hunting and marketing experiences gained while working in various positions within the outdoor industry. We are excited to have him in this new role.”
Klass holds a B.B.A. with an emphasis in marketing from Saginaw Valley State University, University Center, Michigan where he graduated cum laude. He also holds an Associate Degree in Science. Born and raised in Michigan, Klass has been an avid hunter and fisherman for over 25 years and now resides in Virginia.
