Weatherby® Vanguard® Rifles Have New Price, Web Site
Weatherby® Vanguard® models can now be found for as low as $399―the lowest price in years. And to help educate hunters and shooters about the rifles, Weatherby has launched the Web site www.399Weatherby.com.
At www.399weatherby.com hunters and shooters can narrow down their ideal Vanguard based on caliber, type of hunting, stock options, finish and more. They can also see a direct comparison to other manufacturers' rifles.
Vanguards remain the only production rifles to come with a factory-shot target and accuracy guarantee of a 1 ½-inch or better 3-shot group from a cold barrel at 100 yards with premium (non-Weatherby calibers) or Weatherby factory ammunition.
"No other firearm manufacturer backs up their accuracy guarantee with a target," said Brad Ruddell, Weatherby vice president of sales and marketing. "The factory-shot target included with every new Weatherby rifle lets hunters and shooters know that their rifle is accurate straight out of the box."
Prior to shipping the rifles' actions are scoped and bore sighted. They are then test fired to ensure that they meet Weatherby's accuracy guarantee. The scope is removed, and the barreled action is cleaned.

"Tuned triggers and test firing are time consuming, and can be expensive if an owner has a gunsmith handle it. We take the necessary steps to guarantee each rifle's accuracy--an incredible value considering prices on new Vanguards are as low as $399."
Vanguards are available in 16 different calibers, including .257 and .300 Weatherby Magnums. The rifles range in weight from 6 ¾ pounds to 8 ¼ pounds. The Vanguard line includes Synthetic (the $399 model), Stainless, Youth/Compact, Sporter, Sporter SS, Varmint Special, SUB-MOA Matte and Stainless, SUB-MOA Varmint, Deluxe and custom models.
