U.S. Optics is Proud to Announce the Deployment of it’s Newest Rifle Optic, the SN-4 1.5-6x.
As with most of it’s creations, the engineering team at U.S. Optics has developed this fine optical system with input from the U.S. Armed Forces, Law Enforcement and competitive shooters. The 1.5-6x offers the shooter a solid short to medium range rifle sighting system that will put you on target with confidence. Developed as a variable power Close Quarters Battle (CQB) optic, this optical system allows for true versatility on the battleground. Adjusted to 1.5x, this optic offers an excellent field of view (FOV) of 66ft. at 100 yards. This is accomplished by not utilizing masking techniques, often used to cover imperfections or inferior lenses. U.S. Optics only uses the finest glass available for it’s lens systems, thus removing the need for this technique often employed by cheaper foreign made rifle optics.
Constructed with American grade 6061-T6 Aircraft Aluminum, U.S. Optics demands only the best in raw materials. FOV must be a prime consideration when considering your optical system and this rifle optic provides the solution. When engaging multiple threats at close range, the shooter can look thru the scope with both eyes open and the system functions as a true mono-sight.
The SN-4 1.5-6x fills the limitations of using a fixed power optic, and is a proven superior variable power medium range sniper optic. Simply dial up the power setting to 6x and enjoy the unremarkable crisp, clear sight picture and retained 26 feet FOV at 100yds. With over 100 minutes of angle (MOA) travel, this optical system is well suited for precision engagements out to 700+ meters. All of this without fumbling around with flip up magnification devices or lens doublers, which reduce clarity and are subject to failures and malfunctions.
Built with a 30mm main tube body, the U.S. Optics SN-4 features a 28mm objective and popular lit reticle option. With a true diopter adjustment feature constructed within the eyepiece, this optic removes the need for the shooter to use corrective lenses (contacts or glasses). The diopter feature sharpens the sight picture at any power to provide the shooter with clearest picture, thus ensuring positive engagements and precision sub-moa accuracy.
With a sleek slim profile and weighing in at a mere 1.46lbs. and total length of just 10.5 inches, the SN-4 is an incredibly stout compact package. Reticle solutions include the popular Circle Dot, JNGMOA and the Circle Chevron.
As with all of U.S. Optics optical systems, the SN-4 1.5-6x is built in the front focal plane (FFP) ensuring no impact shift on variable power settings. Constructing optical systems in the (FFP) was popular early on in Europe, this custom U.S. born optics company recognized the advantages early on and builds these fine scopes here, in the USA with American made materials. Although building optical systems in the (FFP) has proven more costly and time consuming than 2nd FFP systems, U.S. Optics has been the leader in the U.S., doing it for nearly 20 years setting the pace for other manufactures to follow. The philosophy for U.S. Optics is simple and clearly defined, listen to those who put their lives in harms way and build the most dependable, durable battle hardened precision rifle sights on the planet, period.
Congratulations to the folks at U.S. Optics for delivering a fine optical instrument that will meet the needs of U.S. servicemen, Law Enforcement and precision marksmen alike.
