BURRIS COMPANY is adding three new XTR riflescopes, designed for precision rifles used in extreme environments, to its Xtreme Tactical line.
New for 2009 is a 3X-12X-50mm in a new color, Coyote Brown, a ‘Desert Camo’ shade that coordinates with many new tactical weapon set-ups. The reticle included is the illuminated Ballistic Mil-Dot 12X, and adjustment gradations are MOA calibrated.
Also new is a 1.5x-6x 40mm with a totally new Ballistic 7.62 illuminated reticle. This is destined to set the standard for any close-in to medium range tactical applications. The 7.62 reticle was designed for fast target acquisition, and has drop compensation optimized for the 7.62 caliber round. This model features XT1 knobs and is available in matte finish.
