TenPoint Adds Compact Limb System Technology (CLS) to its 6 Point Series Lineup
Suffield, OH. TenPoint Crossbow Technologies®, a leader in the production of technologically advanced, high-performance crossbows known for balance and precision shooting, introduces the NEW Defender CLS, a moderately priced 6 Point Series version of its highly regarded TenPoint Series Phantom CLS and Shadow CLS models.
Unlike previous 6 Point Series multi-position bow assemblies, the Defender CLS’s newly engineered lightweight Compact Limb System (CLS) bow assembly mounts in a 175-pound draw weight fixed position and generates speeds in excess of 330 fps. The Defender CLS two-piece stock assembly features a one-inch longer UL TriLoc CNC aircraft aluminum extruded barrel equipped with TenPoint’s patented PowerTouch 3 ½ pound trigger. This modified 6 Point bow assembly will also accept TenPoint’s NEW GT Mag 200-pound recurve bow assembly, which can be purchased separately or in a unique combination package along with the Defender CLS.
The Compact Limb System (CLS) components include a robust one-piece machined riser and foot stirrup, 12-inch Iso Taper limbs fitted with CADD engineered MR (maximum rotation) Cams and Brownell Ultra-Cam™ string and cables. Combined, these elements form an uncommonly compact, quiet, and powerful bow assembly with a 13.5-inch power stroke and a very maneuverable 17.5-inch axle-to-axle span when cocked.
All Defender CLS models come packaged with the purchaser’s choice of either TenPoint’s patented ACUdraw or ACUdraw 50 cocking mechanism, a 3x Pro-View Multi Dot 3-Color Scope, 4-Arrow Quiver, six aluminum arrows with practice points, Deluxe s\Sling w/swivels and Wedgie arrow retention spring dampener.
Double-dip fluid imaged in Mossy Oak Treestand ®, the Defender CLS is a custom-balanced, quiet, and deadly accurate hunting machine.
