BIRMINGHAM, Alabama, November 18, 2013 – The inaugural Shooting Sports Retailer Pre-SHOT Show New Products Preview brings to retailers’ shopping lists a strong lineup of things to see when the huge Las Vegas firearms industry trade show rolls around January 14, 2014.

This new SSR editorial feature is an annual pre-show roundup of new products introduced by industry manufacturers after mid-year preliminaries but before the upcoming year. 

In an SSR exclusive preview in the November/December issue, Remington partners with applied technology optics company Tracking Point in the development of the Remington 2020 Digital Optic System, which combines hand-selected rifles, ammunition, digital optics, and target-tracking technology into an integrated shooting system.

The Remington/Track Point collaboration is only one of 84 new products to be found in a single issue of any firearms industry trade or consumer publication. Shooting Sports Retailer is proud to have been the first industry publication to report on this exciting new technological innovation. 

While the new product introductions dominate the issue, it’s not the only feature in this huge November/December release. In what has become an annual report on how firearms retailers find ways to enhance their businesses, this year’s SSR Retailer’s Digest (formerly Retailer’s Handbook) presents in digest form the efforts of four selected dealers who have found ways to improve their business plans with a higher level of consumer visibility.
