Magnum Research Inc. has introduced three new models to its Desert Eagle 1911 line. The Desert Eagle 1911G, 1911C, and 1911U are now available in stainless steel. The new guns all have a crisp trigger pull of 3-4 pounds.

“The demand for our 1911 models has always been strong for Magnum Research.” stated Jim Tertin, director of manufacturing for Magnum Research. “So we decided to dress it up, and with the combination of the crisp trigger pull and the accuracy, this will be a very fun gun to shoot. It looks good, fits well in your hand and with stainless steel you can expect to be able to pass it down to your son or daughter.”

The full-sized DE1911GSS features a 5.05-inch barrel and has an overall length of 8.625 inches. It’s 1.28 inches wide and weighs 36.2 ounces. It has a skeletonized hammer and high-profile sculpted rear sight which is drift-adjustable for windage. The grip is 1.30 inches wide and has front strap checkering. The thumb safety is extended for better control. It comes with two 8-round magazines and has an MSRP of $904.

The compact DE1911CSS has many of the same features as the full-sized G model, but it has a 4.33-inch barrel and an overall length of 7.87 inches. It weighs 33.9 ounces and also has an MSRP of $904.

The undercover model, the DE1911USS, has a 3-inch barrel and overall length of 6.85 inches. It weighs only 25.8 ounces and is a great choice for regular concealed carry. It comes with two 6-round magazines and has an MSRP of $1,019.
