The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the trade association for the firearms industry, is pleased to announce that PolyCase Ammunition has signed as a Supporting Sponsor of the association’s inaugural National Shooting Sports Month. Founded in 2012, PolyCase is an American manufacturer of premium polymer-based firearms cartridges and metal-polymer bullets. The company is headquartered in Savannah, Georgia.

“With its previous support for our Industry Summit and our Shooting Sports Fantasy Camp, PolyCase has demonstrated a strong desire to build a personal connection with today’s shooters” said Chris Dolnack, NSSF Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. “Its sponsorship of our first National Shooting Sports Month only serves to underscore that dedication.”

“The inaugural National Shooting Sports Month is a unique opportunity to promote PolyCase with not only experienced shooters, but also by engaging those new to the shooting sports,” said Paul Lemke, CEO of PolyCase Ammunition. “We are very pleased to be a part of these month-long events and further partner with the National Shooting Sports Foundation.”

Taking place throughout the entire month of August, NSSF’s first annual National Shooting Sports Month was created to celebrate the passion we all have for target shooting and a pastime that provides a lifetime of enjoyment that can be shared with families and friends. At the same time, it reminds the public that shooting is a safe, fun activity enjoyed by millions of Americans, and provides an excellent opportunity for increased shooting sports participation through fun events and activities held at ranges and retail stores across the country.

Firearms ranges across the country are taking part with special events and promotions, and shooters will find their local firearms retailers lined up to share in the excitement as well, with sales, instruction and other efforts that keeps excitement high for the month-long event. NSSF recently introduced its new website, ShootingSportsMonth.org, as the go-to resource for industry manufacturers, ranges and retailers to spread the word, and where consumers will find the participating stores and shooting facilities in their areas, a free library of shooting tip and firearms safety videos, the latest firearms industry news and more. Shooters are invited to share their participation during the month on social media using the hashtag #LetsGoShooting.
