SilencerCo is a leading producer of firearms suppressors and they have now joined the ranks of ammunition makers. The new line of Harvester Subsonic 300 BLK ammunition is designed for optimal performance out of suppressor-equipped firearms, giving exceptional accuracy and reduced sound signature while maintaining excellent terminal performance. The Harvester Subsonic 300 BLK produces sub-MOA groups from a 220-grain bullet.

“At SilencerCo, we are customers first – hunters and shooters,” stated Joshua Waldron, SilencerCo Chief Executive Officer. “We were underwhelmed by the quality of subsonic ammo on the market. Customers shouldn't have to accept a tradeoff between accuracy and sound reduction, so we designed the Harvester ammo line to provide sub-MOA accuracy in the quietest subsonic 300 BLK ammunition on the market.”

The 300 BLK, also known as the 300 AAC Blackout and the 7.62x35mm, was initially developed by Advanced Armament Corporation specifically for the purpose of achieving performance similar to the 7.62x39 Soviet cartridge out of carbine-length barrels and using standard AR magazines at normal capacity. Good performance out of sound-suppressed and flash-suppressed firearms was a priority.

As restrictions on owning and using firearms suppressors have been easing lately, the market for the silencers and effective ammo to use with them has grown rapidly. Many manufacturers have been releasing silencer-specific ammunition for use by hunters and sport shooters, much of it in 300 BLK.

SilencerCo’s Harvester Subsonic 300 BLK is available now online and from select dealers.
