BX-Trigger: Upgrade for Ruger 10/22 and Charger

Sturm, Ruger & Company has introduced a new drop-in replacement trigger for 10/22 rifles and Charger pistols. The BX-Trigger offers a light and crisp pull weight of only 2.75 pounds compared to the standard 6 pounds on the 10/22.

“We have made continuous improvements to the 10/22 over the years, but the BX-Trigger is an exciting performance advancement,” said Ruger President and COO, Chris Killoy. “The BX-Trigger was designed for easy installation, superior performance, and legendary Ruger reliability. Like the popular BX-25 magazine for the 10/22, the BX-Trigger will deliver the excellence and value that shooters have come to expect from Ruger.”

The BX-Trigger is a Genuine Ruger Factory Accessory and fits all 10/22s and Chargers. It’s a true “drop-in” unit that replaces the existing trigger assembly. It comes in a dry-firing block which holds all the pins in place and holds the hammer in place to allow dry firing to try the trigger. No gunsmithing or adjustment is necessary. Ruger has a video of the installation process available on their website.

The BX-Trigger will be available directly from Ruger or from local independent firearms retailers. It’s listed for $89.95 on ShopRuger.com.
